• Born in Oaxaca, Oax., on April 12, 1956.
• College degree in Chemical Engineering from the U.N.A.M. National Autonomous University of México, generation 1975-79.
• Study grant from Industrias Resistol, with assorted responsabilities in the Department of Engineering and Processess. 1978-79
• Superintendent of Engineering and Safety for Catálisis S.A. Responsible for increasing production capacity in the Formaldehyde plant and improving on the job security conditions. 1979-81.
• Production Superintendent for Catálisis S.A. Responsible for implementing the production of Novolac resins in the plants of Lerma/IRSA and Catálisis. 1981-82.
• Plant Manager for Catálisis S.A. Responsible for plant operations and cost reduction programs. 1982-85.
• Resin Plant Superviser for Industrias Resistol S.A. in the Lerma plant. 1985-87.
• Production and Process Superintendent for Poliresinas S.A. de C.V. Responsible for construction and start-up of Novolac resin grinding and mixing area. 1987-89.
